ONCE

Once
I once found love, but I couldn’t give it back.
The kind of love that a romantic dreams of, imagine that.
A special love where dreams come true,
Yes one in a million, they are few.
A love that fights and stands and stretches to you,
no reason not to accept it or you will lose.
The only love I’ve ever found like that
was a love that I couldn’t give back.
Imagine something so awesome standing in front of you,
wanting to show that their love is true.
You cannot choose love or how it comes to be,
love chooses you and hopes you will see.
I was privilege to find a love so rare,
not realizing the gift, I did not care.
The only love that I ever found like that
was a love that I couldn’t give back.
